The Everton Foundation is excited to announce the latest development to their 'Live Food Love Food' campaign.

The community garden will provide opportunities for the local population to access much needed space to grow their own produce.

This latest development, established through an existing collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University's School of Sport and Exercise Science, bids to promote 'real' positive health and behaviour change in the local community.

The campaign is coordinated by Dan Parnell and supported by the School's Exercise Science support officer, Colin Robertson - as well as senior academics Dr Barry Drust, Dr Dave Richardson and Professor Gareth Stratton.

Dan said: "By working alongside the local community, we are providing an opportunity for all to become aware, and engage in, all aspects of nutrition.

"The 'Live Food - Love Food' campaign aims to inspire and reawaken all generations to the benefits of growing, eating and cooking in a bid to create 'real' health and behaviour changes."
