> News > Blues Host Intergenerational Programme

The Everton Foundation has teamed up with the Federation of Stadium Communities and Knowsley Borough Council to host the 'Stadium Legends' intergenerational programme at Goodison Park.

The project aims to unite old and young people from the Kirkby community to share their skills and life experiences while learning many facts and tales on the Club.

Everton legends Graeme Sharp and Derek Temple were in attendance, alongside Everton Ladies' young stars Toni Duggan and Kirkby's own Michelle Hinnigan. All four treated guests to stories and anecdotes of their achievements on the pitch.

The event, which was held in the Alex Young suite at Goodison Park, provided a taste of the programme which will run for six weeks later in the year in Kirkby, forming a part of the Club's ongoing work in the area in conjunction with the proposed new stadium plan.
