Calling all Blue Fans!
Yes, it's been a year since last years Big Heart 5K which took place in Walton Hall Park - and its back again on Sunday 8th August.
The Big Heart 5K came about as a celebration of the life and career of Everton and England's legend Alan Ball and the event is now in its annual 3rd year.
This years supporters are going head to head again and both sets of runners will be backing their own favourite charities. Everton fans will be supporting The Everton Foundation with Liverpudlians supporting The 23 Foundation.
As many of you know The Everton Foundation is an award winning registered charity that delivers a range of programmes to promote health, education, social inclusion and equality of opportunity across Merseyside using the power of sport. This work is only made possible by the generosity of people like you who get involved in events such as the Big Heart 5k.
The theme of the day is about wearing the shirt with pride as many of our football legends have done down the years, none more so than Alan Ball himself. Last year we were outrun by the Red's and this year we are urging all Blues to sign up and join Moyes Blue army to help us to reclaim our top position.
