The Annual Volunteers Awards and presentation night will be held on Wednesday 29 July 2009 in the Alex Young Suite at Goodison Park.

The event is to celebrate all the achievements of our volunteers over the past 12 months. Volunteers will be receiving certificates for the volunteering hours that they have completed before the presentation of the Annual Volunteer Awards.

Our volunteers do a lot of good work within all departments of The Everton Foundation and it is a great way to reward and celebrate their commitment and dedication. This will be our third Annual Volunteer Awards event and we are sure that this years will be the biggest and best yet.

On the evening, speeches will be given by Everton Foundation staff and also some of our active volunteers. There will be a viewing of the new Foundation DVD, slideshows of volunteer programmes and the delivery of other community engagement.

We will also be hosting a volunteers induction session for all new volunteers waiting to engage onto our programme, and that will run from 5pm until 7pm. These new volunteers will then be invited to stay on for the Awards event.

There will be no food served on the night, however, tea/coffee and juice will be available. The awards will begin at 7pm and run until approximately 8.30pm.
